Kipngeno is a focused, sincere, compassionate and dedicated leader who believes in empowering people to uplift their standard of living through development and service to humanity. Born to a peasant farming family in Siomo Village, Cheptalal Division, Kenya, Kipngeno has overcome much adversity in his life.

At 15 he was forced to drop out of school, unable to afford the costly fees. A year later, with the help of the community, he was able to return to school and passed his KCSE exams, graduating at the top of his class. After being accepted to Daystar University in the community again rallied behind Kipngeno to help him fund his schooling.

Kipngeno worked at Daystar’s Writing and Speech Centre as a Student Assistant tutoring writing, research and public speaking. In only his second year at Daystar University, Kipngeno defied all odds to be elected Secretary General of Daystar University Students Association where he oversaw the creation of the very first university Constitution as well as the formation of the Kenya Universities Students’ Organization.

His hard work saw him graduate with First Class Honours and he won Daystar’s Communication Award for being the best Communication student of the year in 2012. In addition, he received Community Service Award for the exemplary servant leadership he exhibited throughout his stay at Daystar University.
